He completed MBBS from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1996,
MS – Ophthalmology, BYL Nair hospital ,Byculla, Mumbai in 1999 and DNB – Ophthalmology from DNB board, New Delhi in 1999.
He is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA),Maharastra Medical Council,All India Ophthalmological Society,Bombay Ophthalmologists’ Association (BOA),American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS),European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and Oculoplastics Association of India (OPAI).

Sirius is a corneal tomography machine which is used for screening for keratoconus and which gives details about both front and back surface of cornea. It is also helpful in the evaluation of tears and meibomian glands.

It is like GPS for the eye. This machine helps in mapping the coordinates of the eye to precisely place the incision where it should be. Also, it is an advanced planning system for the calculation of lens power.
