Dr. Abhijeet Desai is one of the pioneers of Verion guided cataract surgery and Femto-Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery (FLACS) and also the first in Mumbai to have an Oct-Angio.

Dr. Anita Desai is the co-founder and the CEO of Sohum Eye Care Centre. She is the main force behind adding human touch to the entire working system apart from being the administrator as well.
DR. ABHIJEET DESAI
Dr. Abhijeet Desai has an experience of 22 years in Ophthalmology.
He completed MBBS from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1996,
MS – Ophthalmology, BYL Nair hospital ,Byculla, Mumbai in 1999 and DNB – Ophthalmology from DNB board, New Delhi in 1999.
He is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA),Maharastra Medical Council,All India Ophthalmological Society,Bombay Ophthalmologists’ Association (BOA),American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS),European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and Oculoplastics Association of India (OPAI).
